Across Victoria, many club games are unreffed and players depend on the underwater hockey community to create a fair and safe sporting environment. To help promote a safe and enjoyable hockey environment, players should therefore be familiar with the following:
The VUHC is currently working on a policy for documentation and management of incidents in Victorian club hockey. If you do feel unsafe in the water, receive an injury or wish to bring incidents to the attention of the club – in the first instance you should contact your club coordinator (Contacts). An incident form (link) has been created to improve the capturing of this information. Completed forms should also be sent to the VUHC committee (committee@vuhc.org.au). The club coordinator with the assistance of nominated VUHC Members (outlined in Section 5 of the Bylaws), shall decide upon what action shall be taken upon hearing all relevant details.
