The 2015 National Underwater Hockey Competition was hosted by the NSW Underwater Hockey community and held at the Knox Grammar Aquatic Centre in Wahroonga (Sydney). Twenty-seven teams from five different states competed across the divisions: U15, U19, Elite Men, Elite Women and Masters. The tournament began on Tuesday, January 20 2015 with a brief formal opening ceremony and social BBQ, and ended on Sunday 25 January 2015 with some breathtakingly close finals.
Victorian teams placed as follows:
U15s – 5th
U19s – 5th
Women’s – 4th
Men’s – 3rd

Congratulations to all Victorian team members on a solid effort. The next National competition will be held from 4 to 8 January 2016 in Bunbury, WA. Selection of coaches, teams and team training will begin over the next few months. Further details will be posted shortly. Let’s keep up the good work Vic and look to improve in 2016.
