The sport of Underwater Hockey has been played for over 35 years in Australia. During that time the incidence of recorded accidents and/or injuries has been very few. Robust risk management policies have been implemented states (including by the VUHC) to provide a safe environment for the participants in our sport.
To ensure proper insurance coverage, all active Victorian Underwater Hockey players should be current financial members.
Relevant documents include:
- Underwater Hockey Risk Policy
- Incident reporting templates (must be completed for all player injuries and incidents)
- AUF Sport incident claim form
All underwater hockey related incidents and/or injuries occurring in Victoria or involving VUHC members must be reported immediately to committee@vuhc.org.au.
