We have received an ‘unofficial’ notice that Singapore will be hosting the Asian Underwater Hockey Championships (AUHC) on the weekend of December 2-4 (Friday to Sunday).
The format hasn’t been discussed yet but should be similar to years past with multiple catergories (Asian awards as well as invitational awards).
They are hopeful of getting teams from the Philippines, Japan, new kid on the block Indonesia and maybe even China.
The past two AUHC (one in Singapore and the other in Manilla) were great fun. You get reasonable level games and the chance to meet a whole new bunch of fellow underwater geeks.
